Tue, 23 August 2005 People want more. Especially when it comes to the world of entertainment. No longer is it enough to just have the music, but now their must be visual to go along with it. MTV certainly started a revolution over 20 years ago, but that was nothing compared to today. Now music videos are everywhere, cell phones, computers, even on the flip side of a majority of new CDs. The mid 80s saw the start of putting concerts on video and selling them in stores. These days, it is unheard of not to have a DVD release of either a collection of music videos or a live concert. Even Devo have put out a few. Today we look at a few releases that I enjoy. Some are pretty mainstream. Some are not. Either way, you get to hear some great music from Sting, Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, Jamie Cullum, and oh yes, Donny Osmond. Comments[0] |
